Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients with portal hypertension due to cirrhosis, who present with splenomegaly, hypersplenism, and esophagogastric variceal hemorrhage, do not respond to endoscopic and medical therapy and need surgical intervention. 2) Patients underwent TRSPD or TLSPD, with or without intraoperative conversion to open surgery. 3) Preoperative coagulation function, liver and kidney function, cardiac ejection fraction and lung function were in line with surgical requirements, and no definite surgical contraindications were found.4) Patients and their families are informed of the specific procedure chosen and sign an informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients who disagree with TRSPD or TLSPD. 2) Patients who present contraindications to surgery and are unable to complete the procedure. 3) Patients who did not undergo pericardial devascularization. 4) Patients who had hepatocellular carcinoma or any other malignancy
