Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who suffered by open forearm fracture combined with bone defect longer than 2 cm in length received FVFG or MT for bone defect reconstruction were included in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Younger patients with ages less than 18 years old, with malignancy or other non-traumatic causes of segmental bone defect, with traumatic bone defect less than 2 cm in length, or combined with multiple organ injuries were excluded from the study
