18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Age 18-65; 2) The estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) was 20-60 mL/min/1.73 m2, and the disease was stable (no acute inflammation, infectious disease, thyroid dysfunction, wasting disease); 3) No antibiotic treatment within one month; 4) No immunosuppressive therapy within 3 months; 5) No significant short-term weight loss; 24-hour urinary protein <3.5g, no severe communication or intellectual impairment, and no diagnosed malnutrition. All patients were outpatients treated by a nephrologist and had not previously consulted a registered dietitian regarding kidney disease nutrition.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Pregnant and lactating women; 2) Diabetic patients; 3) Patients with severe chronic digestive tract diseases; 4) Cases deemed inappropriate by clinicians; 5) Refusing to sign the informed consent; 6) Incomplete baseline/follow-up data.
