Interventions

The Catheter Group :0.9 % NS 5ml was injected into epidural space via the tail end of the catheter at 0.5 ml/s
The Control Group :no fluid was preloaded into the epidural space before epidural catheterization.
The Needle Group :0.9 % NS 5 ml was injected into epidural space via epidural needle at 0.5mL/s before catheterization

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: We enrolled 300 ASA class I-II nulliparous women,aged 18 to 35 years, with a term singleton pregnancy, who were in active spontaneous labor and requested epidural labor analgesia from December 2021 to August 2022.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Hypertension during pregnancy; 2. Body mass index >= 30kg; 3. With mental diseases; 4. With contraindications to vaginal delivery or epidural labor analgesia; 5. With previous spinal surgery; 6. Accidental dural puncture or catheterization failure.
