Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with new-onset acute gastrointestinal bleeding (Hematemesis, melena, bloody stools, or gastrointestinal decompression, or anal drainage of bloody fluid within 12 hours); 2. A Toronto Upper Gastrointestinal Tract Cleanliness Score or a Boston Lower Gastrointestinal Tract Score of 0; 3. Patients who signed informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Suction tube cannot be inserted due to changes in physiological and anatomical conditions; 2. In cases shock cannot be corrected after aggressive fluid resuscitation, and emergency interventional intervention is needed; 3. Patients who refuse to participate in the study; 4. Patients who have been included in other clinical studies.
