Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for depression patients: 1. Aged between 18 and 60 years old; 2. Meets the diagnostic criteria for DSM-5 major depressive disorder; 3. Concise International Neuropsychiatric Interview (M.I.N.I.) 7.00 diagnosed as a depressive episode; 4. Voluntarily sign an informed consent form; 5. Have the ability to read and write questionnaires and psychological assessments, and have the ability to operate smartphones; 6. The total score of HAMD-17 at the baseline of enrollment is>=14 points. 7. Mobile phones using Android system. Inclusion criteria for healthy subjects: 1. Aged between 18 and 60 years old; 2. No history of mental illness or family history of mental illness, screened through Concise International Neuropsychiatric Interview (M.I.N.I.) 7.00, and no history of brain injury or neurological and psychiatric disorders; 3. The patient signs the informed consent form in person; 4. Have the ability to read and write questionnaires and psychological assessments, and have the ability to operate smartphones; 5. The total score of HAMD-17 at the baseline of enrollment is less than 14 points; 6. Mobile phones that use the Android system.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for depression patients: 1. Pregnant or lactating women; 2. Patients who suffer from severe or unstable diseases and are deemed unsuitable by the researchers to participate in this study; 3. Patients with a history of serious Nervous system disease (including Seizure, brain injury, multiple sclerosis, Degenerative disease such as acute lateral sclerosis, Parkinson's disease and dyskinesia); 4. Other major mental disorders according to DSM-5 diagnostic criteria, including organic mental disorder, Alcohol dependence, drug dependence/abuse, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, etc. (except anxiety disorder). Exclusion criteria for healthy subjects: 1. Pregnant or lactating women; 2. Participants who suffer from severe or unstable diseases and are deemed unsuitable by the researchers to participate in this study.
