Patients with lung infection who have not obtained a clear etiological basis through traditional laboratory examination within three days and who have failed empirical anti-infection treatment; 3. Patients with severe pneumonia; 4. Patients who need to clarify the lung infection and pathogen; 5. Patients whose lung lesions need to be differentiated from infectious diseases by clinicians (it is difficult to detect conventional microorganisms, and delayed diagnosis and treatment affect prognosis); 6. No contraindications for bronchoscopy; 7. Comply with the PBAL sampling process; 8. Through bronchoscopy, protective bronchoalveolar lavage sampling was performed, and metagenomic sequencing and traditional microbial detection were performed.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Does not meet the inclusion criteria; 2. Incomplete clinical data; 3. Does not comply with the PBAL sampling process.
