Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged >=65 years; 2. Meet the diagnostic criteria for sarcopenic obesity: According to the Asian Sarcopenic Working Group (AWGS) 2019 diagnostic criteria: Limb skeletal muscle mass index (ASMI) measured by bioelectrical impedance analyzer (BIA) (Male =30 kg/m^2 according to World Health Organization standards; 3. No regular exercise habit (at least 30 minutes a day, 3 days a week, moderate intensity, for at least 3 months); 4. Participate in the study voluntarily, complete the intervention and sign the informed consent as required.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Absolute contraindications to exercise, such as deep vein thrombosis and/or coagulation dysfunction. 2. Have a serious mental illness, cognitive impairment, hearing impairment, or visual impairment. 3. Difficulty with assessment and/or exercise interventions: musculoskeletal disorders (e.g. fractures, dislocations); Cardiovascular disease (uncontrolled hypertension, SBP>200mmHg or DBP>110mmHg; Dyslipidemia, total cholesterol >220mg/dl; A history of stroke, acute myocardial infarction, angina, and uncontrolled ventricular tachycardia; Disability,(e.g., loss of hands or feet). 4. Infectious skin diseases, open wounds or ulcers. 5. Have taken the following medications regularly in the past 3 months: antiplatelet medications (such as aspirin, Cilostazole, aggrenox, Cilostazole, ticlopidine, etifibatide, and tirofiban), analgesia, and anticoagulants.
