Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ? Premature infants with gestational age of less than 34 weeks admitted to the Department of Neonatology of Children's Hospital of ChongQing Medical University; ? Those admitted to the department within 12 hours after birth. The umbilical cord blood of normal full-term neonates delivered naturally at the same time was selected as the normal control group.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ?Infants with severe asphyxia, early onset sepsis and ABO hemolysis; ? Infants failed to complete the determination of trace elements and oxidation factors; ? Infants with too rapid progress during hospitalization to make a definate dignosis of NRDS; ? Innfants without informed consent from their parents.
