Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who undergone CT-guided PBC surgeries under general anesthesia for the treatment of pharmacologic refractory TN in the Department of Pain Management at Tiantan Hospital of Capital Medical University were recruited consecutively for eligibility. Inclusion criteria included age>18 years, and American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I-III.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) diagnosed with secondary TN according to the criteria of the International Classification of Headache Disorders 3rd edition (ICHD-3), caused by tumor, vascular lesion, multiple sclerosis, or other primary disorders; (2) diagnosed with bilateral TN; (3) diagnosed with mental illness and inability to cooperate. (4) patients who refuse to receive IRT monitoring.
