Patients with colorectal tumours

Interventions

Transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation group :Transcutaneous electrical stimulation was given at the bilateral Hegu, Neiguan, Feet Three Miles, Upper Juxu, Lower Juxu, and Sanyinjiao points 1
False stimulus group :The electrode pads were selected to be attached at the same acupuncture points as in group A, but not energized, i.e., no current stimulation was given to the patients.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients proposed to undergo elective laparoscopic radical colorectal cancer surgery under general anesthesia; 2) Patients aged 25-75 years, ASA class I-II; 3) Those who can understand, sign the informed consent form, and cooperate in completing the intervention and assessment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) contraindications to transcutaneous electrical stimulation, including stimulation of local skin injury or infection, and implanted electrophysiological devices in the body; 2) severe malnutrition; 3) severe abnormalities in cardiopulmonary, hepatic, and renal function; 4) communication disorders, including language disorders, previous neurological disorders, and psychiatric abnormalities; and 5) participation in other clinical studies within 3 months prior to enrollment in this study.
