Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Inclusion criteria of CRS Primary symptoms: nasal obstruction, nasal discharge; Secondary symptoms: facial pain/pressure, hyposmia/anosmia; Presence of two or more symptoms above, one of which should be either nasal obstruction or nasal discharge; Patients with appropriate perioperative management and nasal care; Endoscopic signs of: mucopurulent discharge primarily from middle meatus or olfactory cleft, congestion or edema of nasal mucosa, nasal polyps; Imaging changes: sinus CT scan indicates mucosal inflammation in the ostiomeatal complex and/or sinuses; Aged from 16 to 70; with complete record of examinations. 2.Inclusion criteria of RRS CRS patients undergoing endoscopic sinus surgery; CRS patients with appropriate perioperative management and nasal care; Over 3 months of medical treatment after surgery, such as oral or intranasal corticosteroids, antibiotics and nasal irrigation; Persistent symptoms and signs after 6-month follow-up visit; Aged from 16 to 70 with complete record of examinations. 3.Inclusion criteria of the controls Non-CRS patients that will undergo, endonasal skull base surgery, lacrimal duct surgery or septoplasty; Aged from 16 to 70 with complete record of examinations.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: antrochoanal polyp, immunodeficiency, coagulation disorders, cystic fibrosis, fungal rhinosinusitis and aspirin allergy
