Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria were: a. patients who initially received thyroid surgery in our institution from December 2008 to December 2018; b. patients who were younger than 20 years old; c. postoperative pathological diagnosis was PTC independent of subtypes.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria were: a. postoperative pathological diagnosis was follicular thyroid carcinoma, medullary thyroid carcinoma, or anaplastic thyroid carcinoma; b. patients had comorbidity with other cancer; c.clinicopathological and follow-up information was incomplete.
