Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Healthy controls (HC) Medical examination populations who were followed up for at least 2 years in each center, with no solid tumors found in chest CT examination, no clinical symptoms related to esophageal cancer, no malignant tumor history, and the blood routine, blood biochemistry, liver and kidney function being basically normal. 2. Esophageal squamous cell Carcinoma patients (ESCC) a. The patient was diagnosed as esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) by two pathologists. b. No any anti-tumor therapy recieved such as surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. c. No primary tumor found in other sites in CT, MRI, B-ultrasound or PET-CT examination. d. Blood routine, blood biochemistry, liver and kidney function were basically normal.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Sample quality does not meet requirements (such as improper sample collection, improper storage, insufficient sample size, sample leakage, sample contamination, etc).
