Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients diagnosed with hemorrhagic or ischemic stroke after clinical evaluation and imaging examination, in line with the diagnostic criteria established by the 2014 National Cerebraovascular Academic Conference; 2. Demonstrated upper extremity motor dysfunction as confirmed by Fugl-Meyer motor function score; 3. Able to perform active flexion and extension of the wrist; able to grip and able to perform active abduction or extension of the thumb and at least two other fingers; 4. Age 18-90 years old, regardless of sex; 5. No cognitive or communication impairments, able to understand and follow two-step commands; 6. First onset of stroke, the course over 7 days.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. People with severe cardiopulmonary disease and cannot tolerate rehabilitation programs; 2. People with severe depression (with suicidal tendencies) 3. People with epilepsy; 4. People with severe joint contracture; 5. People with severe upper extremity sensory loss; 6. People who have impaired consciousness due to any reason; 7. People who have been using drugs that change the excitability of the cerebral cortex (such as antiepileptic drugs etc.).
