Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Male aged 18-45 years; 2. BMI 18.5 -- 29.9kg/m^2; 3. Abstinence for 2~7 days, abnormal semen analysis, no sperm found in semen analysis, included in azoospermia group; The total sperm of 1 ejaculation =39*10^6 or sperm concentration =32%, sperm normal form percentage >=4%, included in the control group; 4. Be willing to provide stool, urine and blood samples, voluntarily participate in and sign informed consent for clinical trials and complete questionnaires.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Oral administration of L-carnitine, vitamin E and other drugs that may affect spermatogenic function within 30 days; oral administration of antibiotics, enema or gastroenteroscopy within 30 days; heavy drinking within the past week (drinking more than 200ml liquor and more than 1000ml beer at a time); or weekly drinking in the past month; 2. Known genetic/chromosomal defects cause decreased male fertility, including Y chromosome microdeletion, Klinefelter's syndrome, XYY syndrome, Noonan syndrome, CFTR gene point mutation; 3. Testis, epididymis, vas deferens, ejaculatory duct obstruction/trauma, testicular tumor, semen leukocytosis and other reproductive tract infections; 4. Ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, positive anti-sperm antibody, acute gastrointestinal disease, received bariatric surgery in the past year, intestinal resection and other gastrointestinal surgical treatment except appendectomy, poorly controlled common systemic diseases causing infertility include diabetes with complications, kidney failure, cirrhosis, liver insufficiency, sickle cell disease, etc.; 5. Recent 90-day exposure to radiation; 6. For patients with mental disorders or communication disorders, subjects do not cooperate, cannot be followed up, or researchers judge that they may be difficult to complete the study.
