Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Meet the following criteria for inclusion in the screening period: 1. First time ICU admission, age > 15 years old, gender unlimited; In line with the diagnostic criteria for sepsis (Singer M et al. JAMA. 2016); 2. The patient is expected to stay in ICU for =3 days without receiving neuromuscular blocker or glucocorticoid therapy; Be included in the final queue if the following criteria are met: 1. Effectiveness and reliability of clinical evaluation ICU-AW; 2. Complete at least 3 times of nerve conduction, electromyography and DMS examination; 3.ICU =7 days;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Previous neuromuscular history or electromyography after admission to ICU confirmed GBS, MG, myositis, botulism, etc.; 2. Upper and lower limb diseases (such as edema, amputation, fracture, plaster fixation, etc.) that do not allow NCV and EMG examination; 3. Patients with severe or mild symptoms are expected to stay in ICU for 72h or less; 4. Extremely critical or terminal condition, estimated survival time < 7 days;
