Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Eczema infants: (1) 0-12 months; (2) It meets the diagnostic criteria of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine for infantile eczema; (3) The mother informed and signed the consent form, voluntarily cooperated with the treatment and accepted the follow-up. Healthy infants: infant without eczema, visceral disease or dysfunction; conform to the above standards of (1) and (3).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) preterm infants ; (2) infant with any visceral disease or dysfunction except eczema; (3) infant with infection, or the history of topical and systemic application of corticosteroids, antihistamines, antibiotics agents, traditional Chinese herbs or other specific intervention during the last 2 weeks; (4) infants with severe eczema, i.e. eczema area and severity index (EASI) score > 21; (5) infant with obvious eczema or skin lesion on the back where massage is applied; (6) mother with diagnosed severe mental disorders or the scores of Zungs self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale (SDS)=70; (7) mother unable to follow study protocol.
