Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with a body mass index (BMI) = 40 kg/m2 and no comorbid medical problems and who do not pose excessive risks from weight loss surgery. 2. patients with a body mass index (BMI) = 35 kg/m2 and one or more serious obesity-related complications that can be corrected by bariatric surgery. 3. patients with a body mass index (BMI) of 27.5-34.9 kg/m2 and poorly controlled type 2 diabetes and/or arterial hypertension despite optimal lifestyle and pharmacological therapy 4. patients aged 18-65 years who, with full understanding, agreed to participate in this study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who have lost the ability to perform daily living activities. 2. Patients during pregnancy or breastfeeding. 3. Patients with severe preoperative liver or kidney insufficiency, cardiopulmonary insufficiency, or other serious diseases not receiving standardized treatment. 4. Patients with previous serious psychiatric disorders. 5. Patients in active tumor stage. 6. Patients who had previous weight loss surgery.
