Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adults (aged > 18 years); 2. Unilateral PFP existing for at least three months; 3. Various factors that induce hemifacial paralysis, for instance, Bells palsy or after surgery of acoustic neuroma.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Central or congenital facial paralysis; 2. Surgical reanimation procedure (nerve or muscle reconstruction); 3. Severe heart, liver, kidney, or other major organ disorders; 4. Cognitive disorders; 5. Sensory loss over the face.
