18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged range from 18 to 80 years, no gender limit; 2. According to the Diagnostic Key Points of Various Major Cerebrovascular Diseases in China 2019 formulated by the Cerebrovascular Department of the Neurology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, stroke was diagnosed and confirmed by CT or MRI, the course of disease was less than 1 year; 3. The diagnosis of dysphagia is evaluated by a physician and speech therapist, for example, swallowing disorders confirmed by Volume-Viscosity Swallow Test (V-VST); 4. No cognitive dysfunction, no structural lesions of head and neck, no metal implants in neck; 5. Can follow instructions for inspection; Voluntary informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of acupuncture adverse reactions; 2. Patients with tracheotomy, patients with continuous oxygen saturation below 95%, patients with artificial ventilator assisted ventilation and patients with unstable vital signs; 3. Structural oral, pharyngeal or esophageal diseases; 4. Serious underlying diseases and complications; 5. Encephalitis, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, motor neurone disease, poliomyelitis, Guillain-Barre syndrome, myasthenia gravis or myopathy, and Alzheimer's disease; 6. Pregnant and lactating patients.
