Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. The first episode was diagnosed as a unilateral ischemic stroke; 2. The stroke condition was stable and did not continue to deteriorate; 3. The infarct lesion location was determined by imaging and was classified as cortical, subcortical, or cortico-subcortical; 4. Age >= 18 years, Right-handedness; 5. Upper extremity function assessed by the Functional Test for the Hemiplegic Upper Extremity (FTHUE-HK) with 2 – 4 level; 6. Experienced rehabilitation after stroke; 7. Have the ability to communicate normally and understand simple verbal instructions; 8. Able to understand and voluntarily sign a written consent form to participate in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Hemorrhagic stroke; 2. Previous diagnosis of a neurological disorder besides stroke; 3. Severe aphasia or Presence of cognitive impairment that affects comprehension of instructions, Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE)<= 2173 74; 4. Presence of pain that prevents completion of functional assessment; 5. Impaired function due to upper limb injury caused by other diseases rather than stroke; 6. Contraindications to rTMS.
