Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with stage 2 moderate (persistent corneal epithelial defect, PED) or stage 3 severe (corneal ulcer) neurotrophic keratitis were diagnosed by the investigator; 2. Written informed consent documents have been obtained according to Chinese and local privacy requirements; 3. Evidence of reduced corneal perception (based on the Cochet-Bonnet esthesiometer <= 4cm) in at least one corneal quadrant within the area of PED or corneal ulcer and outside the area of defect.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with a history of NGF antibodies (history of systemic injection of murine NGF); 2. The affected eye has any active eye infection (bacterial, viral, fungal or protozoan) or active eye inflammation that is not related to NK; 3. Evidence of corneal ulceration, corneal dissolution, or perforation involving the posterior one-third of the corneal stroma in the affected eye.
