Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. The diagnosis criteria of sepsis and septic shock were in line with the consensus of the 2016 International Conference on Sepsis. 2. Survival time >= 24 hours after admission. 3. Age >= 18 years. 4. Sign the informed consent. 5. Patients with common infection: (1) infection on admission (including evidence of infection provided by clinical physical examination, imaging examination or laboratory positive results, such as visceral perforation, white blood cells in sterile body fluids, lung infection shown by chest radiograph or CT, etc.), satisfying the diagnosis of SIRS. (2) It does not meet the diagnostic criteria of sepsis.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Admission time <24 hours. 2. Age <18 years old. 3. Suffering from tumor or immune or hematological diseases. 4. Previous sepsis or severe infection. 5. Pregnant or lactating patients. 6. Incomplete clinical data.
