Conditions

acute circulatory failure

Interventions

Gold Standard:Fluid responsiveness was defined as an increase >10% in velocity-time integral (measured by TTE) after PLR test
Index test:Decrease in pulse pressure variation after passive leg raising, velocity-time integral variation, peak velocity variation, pulse pressure variation

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The critically ill patients in mechanically ventilated patients with spontaneous breathing occur one or more of the following symptom(s) of acute circulatory failure: systolic blood pressure (SBP) 2 mmol/L); tachycardia (heart rate >100 beats per minute), and mottling of the skin

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: age <18 years, left ventricular (LV) dysfunction (ejection fraction <40%), intracranial hypertension, active bleeding, intra-abdominal hypertension, arrhythmia, lower limbdisability, pregnant women, a contraindication to the PLR maneuver, the echocardiography could not be gained and poor echogenicit
