Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ARDS group: 1. Aged >= 18 years, male or female; 2. Meet diagnostic criteria of ARDS in "Acute respiratory distress syndrome: the Berlin Definition2012". Control group: Healthy volunteers, aged >= 18 years, male or female.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients: 1. Received organ transplantation; 2. With malignant tumour; 3. With long-term use of hormones or immunosuppressants; 4. With hematological diseases; 5. With acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS); 6. With chronic inflammatory diseases; 7. Without the consent of the patient or close relatives.
