Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 12-7 years, with a diagnosis of autism, Asperger's syndrome, or nonspecific pervasive developmental disorder obtained according to DSM-IV or a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder obtained according to DSM-V; The diagnosis was verified by the Autism Observation Diagnostic Procedure (ADOS) and the Autism Diagnostic Interview (ADR-R); 2. Full-scale Intelligence Quotient (IQ) greater than 70 by the Wechsler Intelligence Test 4th edition. Of which, verbal IQ needs to be greater than 70; 3. The adolescent and parents are willing to cooperate and participate in the program and scientific assessments; 4. Adolescents and parents have the ability to complete the questionnaires independently.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Brain injury, cerebral palsy, severe hearing impairment, sever visual impairment, and severe metabolic disease; 2. Significant rule-breaking, aggressive, self-injurious, and wounding behaviors within the last six months; 3. Low motivation for youth participation; 4. Difficulties with Mandarin expression and comprehension; 5. Prior or current self-injury, conduct disorder, antisocial personality disorder, borderline personality disorder, schizophrenia, or other psychiatric conditions in the history taking that may interfere with participation or require other treatment.
