Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged >= 60 years; 2. Nursing home residence for >= 3 months; 3. Geriatric Depression Scale score >= 11; 4. Mini-mental State Examination >= 21; 5. Voluntary participation in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Acute onset of major illnesses such as cardiac, respiratory, digestive, or cancer; 2. Developing a psychological illness other than depression; 3. Taking antidepressants, psychotropic drugs; 4. About to move out of the nursing home included in the study; 5. Having received other psychological treatment within the past 3 months.
