45 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged >= 45 years, regardless of gender; 2. Carotid artery ultrasound showed carotid atherosclerotic plaque; 3. Patients with hypertension who have been diagnosed, after three months of lifestyle intervention, have blood pressure levels of 140 mmHg <= systolic blood pressure < 160 mmHg and (or) 90 mmHg <= diastolic blood pressure < 100 mmHg; 4. Hypertension patients who are taking antihypertensive drugs regularly are willing to discontinue the current antihypertensive drugs for 2 weeks, with the highest blood pressure not exceeding 160/100 mmHg before taking the drugs.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. People who are allergic to any component of the study drug; 2. Patients with previous or existing clinical diagnosis of heart disease; 3. Patients with previous or existing clinical diagnosis of cerebrovascular disease; 4. Patients with previous or existing clinical diagnosis of kidney disease; 5. Patients with previous or existing clinical diagnosis of diabetes; 6. Patients with previous or existing clinical diagnosis of peripheral vascular disease; 7. Secondary hypertension; 8. Patients with severe liver disease (liver function alanine aminotransferase (ALT) or aspartate aminotransferase (AST) or total bilirubin is higher than the upper limit of normal value); 9. Creatine kinase (CK) is higher than the upper limit of normal value; 10. Blood pressure is still poorly controlled after taking antihypertensive drugs (systolic blood pressure >= 160 mmHg, and/or diastolic blood pressure >= 100 mmHg; 11. Rheumatoid immune diseases, malignant tumors, etc.; 12. Various acute and chronic infectious diseases and acute metabolic disorders.
