30 Years to 80 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 30-80 years with first-time stroke; 2. The types of stroke and lesions were confirmed by a clinical CT or MRI scanner; 3. The site of stroke is mainly concentrated subcortical, non-multiple stroke sites; 4. Exists upper limb impairments (Brunnstrom stage was between I to V); 5. Stroke occurred 0.5 to 6 months prior to the first assessment; 6. Able to follow instructions and to consent (Mini Mental State Examination score >= 23); 7. Right handedness and was able to seat in a comfortable chair for more than 30 minutes; 8. Patients or their relatives were willing to sign informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Communication or attention maintenance disorders may affect experimental participation; 2. Contraindication to EEG collection or electroacupuncture; 3. History of epilepsy or use of antiepileptic drugs; 4. Unstable medical condition or other serious illness that may affect experimental participation.
