Rapid recovery after total knee replacement

Interventions

Early carbohydrate feeding group (EOF group):drank 10.5% of 5 mL/kg body weight (100mL containing 12.5g maltodextrin, fructose and glucose)
Routine feeding group (control group):Return to the ward to continue to fast and drink for at least 6h, and start to drink gradually after anal exhaust

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients undergoing elective knee replacement surgery; 2. The patient gave informed consent; 3. Aged >= 65 years, sex is not limited; 4. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) I-III level; 5. Body Mass Index (BMI) 18~28 kg/m2.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Preoperative gastric emptying disorders, such as gastroesophageal reflux or previous surgery; 2. Diabetes mellitus, severe renal insufficiency, or other severe metabolic diseases; 3. History of motion sickness; 4. Mental disorders, alcoholism, or a history of substance abuse; 5. Patients with abnormal swallowing function; 6. Maltodextrin, fructose allergy or intolerance; 7. Surgery time was greater than 3 hours.
