Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Those who meet the diagnostic criteria of Bell's palsy in acute stage; 2. According to the H-B, the first-episode unilateral facial paralysis patients with score above grade I and below grade VI and onset less than 7 days; 3. Men and women aged?16-65 years ; 4. Participants without?any of the following complications: mental illness, immune dysfunction, genetic disease or severe cardiovascular disease, etc; 5. Those who understand and accept all test procedures, able to cooperate with the clinicians acupuncture therapy during the clinical trial.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Those who fail to meet the diagnostic criteria of Bell's palsy in acute stage; 2. The H-B grade ?, which is a complete facial paralysis patient; 3. Those with an onset of more than 7 days; 4. Non-first time sufferer; 5. Those with bilateral facial paralysis; 6. Patients with secondary diseases, such as tumors, trauma, otitis media, etc.; 7. Patients with severe diseases of various organs; 8. Patients who are allergic to glucocorticoid therapy; 9. Those who may have poor compliance with the test and cannot complete the test.
