Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: included in the study were American Society of Anesthesiologists I and II female patients(aged between 25 and 40 years) scheduled for elective caesarean sections under spinal anesthesia for their first baby

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria included patients not willing to participate in the study,emergency cases, patients with preeclampsia, thrombocytopenia, HELLP syndrome (hemolysis, elevated liver enzymes, and low platelet levels), patients with evidence of intrauterine growth restriction or fetal compromise,history of cardiac, pulmonary, hepatic, renal, neuropsychiatric or, other diseases or substance abuse?and history of surgery
