Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who were diagnosed with gastroenteritis and admitted to the hospitals as well as the children under age 5 years old in selected communities; 2. ICD-10 coded with J09-J18 or J20-J22; 3. Never been admitted into hospital within 30 days with the same disease.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Incomplete data.
