Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Observation group: (1) Age 18-75; (2) Diagnosed by an endocrinologist who meets the WHO criteria for diabetic patients: 75g oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT), fasting blood glucose >= 7.0 mmol/L, OGTT2h blood glucose >= 11.1 mmol/L; (3) The onset time of patients can be traced and grouped according to the course of disease: 1) The first group: the duration of diabetes 10 years; complete clinical phenotype data at onset (including fasting blood sugar, islet autoantibody information, height, weight, c-peptide, and drug use in the past 3 months); 2. Control group: (1) Age 18-75; (2) 18.5 < BMI < 23.9 kg/m^2; (3) Both fasting and postprandial blood glucose are normal (did not reach the diagnostic criteria for diabetes or abnormal glucose tolerance stipulated by WHO).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Suffering from single-gene mutation diabetes, diabetes caused by pancreatic damage, or other secondary hyperglycemia-related diseases (such as Cushing's syndrome, hyperglycemia-related diseases caused by abnormal thyroid function or acromegaly); 2. Severe liver and kidney dysfunction (eGFR = ?; 5. Pregnancy at the time of enrollment; 6. Use of antibiotics in the past 3 months; 7. Oral, intramuscular or intravenous systemic administration, parenteral administration or intraarticular administration of weight control drugs (including weight loss drugs), corticosteroids and other hormonal drugs in the past 3 months; 8. The subject is currently suffering from gastrointestinal diseases that cause various acute and chronic diarrhea or severe constipation; 9. Previous history of weight loss surgery; 10. Previously had a history of bowel segment resection, or received other gastrointestinal surgery (such as cholecystectomy) within one year, or received other non-gastrointestinal surgery within six months; 11. Any situation that affects the enrollment as judged by the researcher.
