Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Inclusion criteria for BP depression: (1) 18-65 years old; (2) DSM-5 clearly diagnoses BD patients; (3) Informed consent, willing to participate in this research; (4) The first episode, untreated subjects, currently in a depressive episode; (5) Or from MDD data that has not been converted to mania during follow-up; 2. Inclusion criteria for BP manic episodes: (1) 18-65 years old; (2) DSM-5 clearly diagnoses BD patients; (3) Informed consent, willing to participate in this research; (4) The first episode, untreated subjects, currently in a manic episode; 3. Inclusion criteria for normal control: (1) 18-65 years old; (2) Gender, age and years of education matched with the patient group; (3) Informed consent, willing to participate in this research; (4) Right-handed.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Have contraindication of magnetic resonance examination; 2. Brain organic diseases found by routine scanning; 3. Other mental diseases such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder; 4. Suffering from unstable somatic diseases; 5. Have a history of abuse of tobacco, alcohol, drugs, etc; 6. Pregnancy or lactation; 7. CSSRS and HAMD scores are suicidal; 8. History of suicide and self-mutilation.
