Experimental group 1:Western medicine treatment and care following international guidelines + traditional Chinese medicine wax therapy at 5:00~7:00 pm
Experimental group 2:Western medicine treatment and care following international guidelines + traditional Chinese medicine wax therapy outside the time of 5:00~7:00 pm

20 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 20 to 80 years, no gender limit; 2. Meet the 2009 ACR/EULAR western medicine diagnostic criteria for RA and the disease is active; 3. Meet the diagnostic criteria of TCM syndromes, and the TCM syndrome types are cold-dampness obstruction type or liver-kidney deficiency type; 4. The patient agrees to receive traditional Chinese medicine wax therapy and signs the informed consent form for clinical research; 5. Clear consciousness, stable vital signs, primary school education or above, good expression and communication skills.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant and lactating patients; 2. Those with serious damage to the heart, liver, kidney and other systems; 3. Those who have adverse reactions to the traditional Chinese medicines and medical paraffin used in this research; 4. Those with skin ulceration, high fever, weak constitution, and with sensory disturbance of warmth; 5. Those who have a bleeding tendency and bleeding diseases, or have other contraindications to wax therapy; 6. Superimpose other types of rheumatic immune diseases, such as ankylosing spondylitis, systemic lupus erythematosus, etc.
