Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age: 16-70 years; 2. Ankle joint fractures with no internal ankle fracture, complete injury to the triangular ligament (preoperative X-ray shows an increase of>=5mm in the internal ankle space, or an increase of>=5mm in the internal ankle space at the ankle acupoint during external rotation stress test), and lower tibiofibular injury (an increase of more than 2mm in the internal tibiofibular space at the ankle acupoint during hook test or external rotation test); 3. The time of injury is less than 2 weeks.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Posterior ankle fractures that require fixation (joint surface steps>=2mm or bone blocks exceeding 25% of the joint surface in a lateral position); 2. Old fractures; 3. Merging ankle joint deformities, old injuries, or instability; 4. Multiple fractures; 5. Merge ipsilateral talus, calcaneus, and foot fractures; 6. Open fractures; 7. Pathological fractures.
