Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. According to the Expert Consensus on the Diagnosis and Treatment of primary aldosteronism (2020 version), those with an ARR > 3.7 (renin concentration in mU/L and aldosterone concentration in ng/ dL, respectively) were included and baseline data were available; 2. Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events were defined as cerebral hemorrhage, cerebral infarction, transient ischemic attack, myocardial infarction, heart failure, angina pectoris, arrhythmia, coronary atherosclerotic heart disease; 3. Diabetes mellitus was defined as HbA1c >= 6.5%, or patients who had been diagnosed with diabetes and used drugs, diet and exercise to control blood glucose; 4. Renal complications were defined as increased serum creatinine, decreased estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), or increased urinary albumin output; 5. Dyslipidemia was defined as elevated serum levels of cholesterol and triglyceride and lower high-density lipoprotein than normal levels.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Suspected voluntary cortisol secretion; 2. Active liver disease stage, or significant liver function damage, defined as alanine aminotransferase (ALT) >= 2.5 times the upper limit of the normal range; 3. Mental disorders, reluctance to communicate with others or language barriers, resulting in inability to fully understand the research protocol or cooperate with the researchers; 4. Patients with severe cardiopulmonary insufficiency and malignant tumors; 5. Pregnant or breastfeeding women; 6. No return data.
