Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Meet the diagnostic criteria of "depressive episode" in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders Four (DSM-IV) of the United States; 2. Han nationality, aged 12-17 years, right-handed; 3. The 17 items of Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) have a score of >= 17; Patients with first-time MDD or patients with previously diagnosed MDD did not receive antidepressant treatment for 4 weeks before entering the group, and had no previous history of electroconvulsive therapy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Accompanied by the diagnosis of other mental disorders of DSM-IV-TR axis I, such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder and anxiety disorder; 2. Patients with secondary depression caused by other organic diseases or drugs; 3. Current or past history of substance dependence or abuse (alcohol, cocaine, drugs, etc.); 4. Currently or in the past combined with neurological diseases or a history of severe traumatic brain injury; 5. Combined with other serious physical diseases; 6. Those who have MRI scan contraindications.
