Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The age range is between 45-60 years old; 2. DM non-DDN group: patients diagnosed with type 2 diabetes but not DDN. For the diagnostic criteria of DDN, refer to the diabetic distal symmetric polyneuropathy (DSPN) standard and the diabetic cardiac autonomic neuropathy (CAN) standard; 3. DDN group: patients diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and DDN; 4. Relatively normal blood sugar/hyperglycemia group: grouped according to the level of glycosylated hemoglobin, define HbA1c >= 9% as hyperglycemia group, and HbA1c > 9% as relatively normal blood sugar group; 5. Healthy control group: non-diabetic or pre-diabetic patients with normal nerve conduction function.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Acquired non-specific inflammatory demyelinating peripheral neuropathy, including but not limited to: Guillain-Barré syndrome, chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy, etc.; 2. Peripheral neuropathy caused by other systemic diseases, including but not limited to: renal failure (eGFR < 30 ml/(min*1.73m2)); liver failure or cirrhosis; heavy alcoholism; tumor; abnormal thyroid function; connective tissue disease; severe anemia or malnutrition; unstable condition for any reason; HIV infection; 3. There are conditions that are not suitable for nerve conduction examination, including but not limited to: diabetic foot; gout; foot osteoarthritis; high skin temperature/hypothermia caused by fever; severe lower extremity vascular disease; mental anxiety or related mental illness disease; lower extremity edema;
