Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who met the diagnostic criteria for type 2 diabetes, aged 18-80 years; Patients aged >=60 years, glycated hemoglobin >7%, and diabetic vascular complications were included in the experimental group. The newly diagnosed patients with type 2 diabetes without vascular complications were included in the control group; 2. HBA1C <9.0%; 3. Informed consent was signed by the patient or his/her guardian before screening.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Those who are participating in the intervention study and taking rosiglitazone or biglitazone; 2. Pregnant and lactating patients, gestational diabetes mellitus or diabetes mellitus combined with pregnancy; 3. Severe kidney disease, eGFR< 45ml/min/1.73m^2; 4. Status of tumor chemotherapy and radiotherapy; 5. Allergy to siglitat sodium; 6. Patients with other mental diseases who are unable or unwilling to cooperate; Or other conditions that the researcher deems inappropriate to study.
