Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years, age <= 80 years; 2. patients with multiple rib fractures; 3. ASA class I-III; 4. BMI 20-30 kg/m^2.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria: 1. incapacity; 2. refusal to sign; 3. coagulation disorder or puncture site infection; 4. known allergy to local anaesthetics; 5. long-term opioid use.
