Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. pathological diagnosis of lung cancer; 2. treatment naive stage III-IV; 3. aged 18-70 years; 4. did not receive anti-tumor treatment such as surgery or chemoradiotherapy; 5. subjects were required to sign a written informed consent to participate and complete this study and follow-up.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. age 70 years; 2. identify known congenital disorders; 3. patients with metabolic diseases such as diabetes, hyperlipidemia, or severe cardiopulmonary hepatorenal neuropsychiatric disorders; 4. severe lung cancer (cachexia, survival < 2 months); 5. severe complications (including intestinal paralysis, intestinal obstruction, interstitial pneumonia, pulmonary fibrosis, liver and kidney dysfunction, etc.); 6. gastrointestinal bleeding requiring frequent blood transfusions; 7. known to carry human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) or suffer from associated diseases such as AIDS; 8. alcohol abuse, drug addiction, long-term use of hormones, or NSAIDs; 9. had any acute inflammatory manifestations for nearly 2 weeks; 10. significant stress responders for nearly 2 weeks (e.g., burns, etc.); 11. with hematological diseases such as leukemia and others.
