Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects: Inpatients and outpatients with spinal cord injury and stroke who received rehabilitation treatment in Beijing Boai Hospital, China Rehabilitation Research Center, received conventional drugs and rehabilitation treatment, and did not participate in other relevant clinical studies. Inclusion criteria for patients with spinal cord injury: Diagnostic criteria: ? consistent with ISNCSCI clinical diagnosis; ? Spinal cord injury was confirmed by MRI examination. Inclusion criteria: ? Complete clinical data; ? Stable condition, clear consciousness, no cognitive impairment, able to tolerate 40 minutes of treatment per day; (3) Adult, over 18 years old; (4) The course of disease is less than 12 months; ? No invasive treatment such as botulinum toxin injection or surgery was performed before and during treatment; ? junior high school education or above; ? No visual impairment, international standard visual acuity chart examination of binocular vision or corrected visual acuity =1.0; The right-handed hand dedness, ascertained through the Edinburgh Handedness Inventory (EHI); ? Patients or family members agreed to participate in the study and signed the informed consent form. Inclusion criteria for stroke patients: Diagnostic criteria: ? Stroke patients, including cerebral infarction and cerebral hemorrhage, met the diagnostic criteria for stroke formulated by the fourth National Conference on Cerebrovascular diseases in 1995; ? Stroke was confirmed by CT or MRI; Inclusion criteria: ? unilateral limb hemiplegia; (2) Brunnstrom Grade II ~ IV; ? Right-handed, determined by EHI; (4) Adult, aged 30-70 years; ? Subacute stage, duration of disease 3-6 months; ? First onset; ? Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) score =27, able to execute treatment instructions, without severe cognitive and speech disorders, able to understand commands and communicate with therapists; No visual impairment, international standard visual acuity chart examination of binocular visual acuity or corrected visual acuity =1.0; ? The vital signs are stable, the disease does not progress, and the patient can tolerate 30 minutes of treatment daily.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria Exclusion criteria for patients with spinal cord injury: ? unstable vital signs; (2) There are conundications of NMES: open wounds or infections, skin injuries or skin diseases (such as eczema, etc.), acute infections (such as osteomyelitis, etc.), vascular diseases (such as thrombosis or phlebitis), infectious diseases, metal implants and cardiac pacemakers, etc.; ? Patients with other major diseases and serious dysfunction of important organs, such as heart, lung, liver, kidney and other organ diseases or failure; (4) people with serious mental and psychological problems; (5) Patients with brain trauma and other serious injuries, with cognitive or speech disorders, unable to understand and execute commands; ? There are other clinical problems affecting the assessment results, such as poor vision, recent or unhealed fractures, vestibular diseases, etc.; ? Patients or family members refused to participate in the study. The exclusion criteria of stroke patients were: ? subarachnoid hemorrhage, venous sinus thrombosis, transient ischemic attack, progressive stroke or reversible cerebral ischemia; ? lesions located in bilateral cerebral hemispheres, cerebellum or brainstem; ? There are contraindications of NMES treatment: skin injuries or skin diseases (such as eczema, etc.), acute infections (such as osteomyelitis, etc.), vascular diseases (such as thrombosis or phlebitis), metal endoplants and cardiac pacemakers, etc.; ? Combined with other major diseases, such as heart, lung, liver, kidney and other organ diseases or failure; ? Age < 29 years old; ? non-first onset; ? Receive invasive treatment such as surgery; ? There are other clinical problems affecting the assessment results, such as poor vision, recent or unhealed fractures, vestibular diseases, etc.; ? Other neurological diseases, such as multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease, or severe mental health problems.
