Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with clinically confirmed secondary lymphedema of unilateral or bilateral limbs (International Society of Lymphedema classification stage I-II) with a history of more than 3 months; 2. Age range: 18 to 80 years old;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with systemic diseases, infection or bleeding tendency; 2. Patients with medical contraindications to metformin use were excluded, including a history of allergies, gastrointestinal intolerance, or other serious systemic conditions (e.g., renal failure, liver dysfunction, congestive heart failure, neurological or psychological disorders); 3. Patients who are breastfeeding or preparing for pregnancy; 4. Minors (<18 years old) or patients over 80 years old; 5. Suffer from mental illness that may affect participation in the project; 6. Diagnosis of immune deficiency; 7. Patients who are not suitable to participate in this experiment according to the evaluation of the investigator;
