Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients with lumbar disc herniation who received surgical treatment for the first time; 2) Clear mind, no cognitive impairment and mental illness, and can complete various assessments independently; 3) Aged 18-60 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with severe osteoporosis; 2) Previous history of other lumbar surgery or trauma; 3) Other lumbar diseases such as spinal tumor, spinal infection, spinal stenosis, lumbar tuberculosis, and spondylolisthesis; 4) Patients with severe mental disorders; 5) neuromuscular, endocrine system diseases or long-term use of hormone drugs.
