Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years old; 2. Admitted to hospital within 24 hours after the onset of focal neurological symptoms; 3. Meet the diagnostic criteria for acute cerebral infarction in the Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Acute Ischemic Stroke in China 2018; 4. Meet the criteria for massive cerebral infarction: emergency head imaging examination shows that the ischemic area is >= 1/2 of the blood supply area of ??the middle cerebral artery; 5. The patient or legal representative signs the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Those who have not completed the emergency head imaging examination within 24 hours of onset; 2. Those who refuse or are unable to provide peripheral blood samples within 24 hours of onset.
