Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Age 55-75 years old; (2) Accept UBE surgery; (3) The expected mechanical ventilation time is more than 2 hours; (4) American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) grade = grade III.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Combined with acute lung injury (ALI)/acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS); (2) Concurrent heart failure or suspected concomitant heart failure; (3) Received mechanical ventilation [including continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP)] within 15 days before surgery; (4) Combined with pneumothorax or bullae; (5) Combined with severe neurological dysfunction; (6) Moderate to severe hepatic and renal insufficiency; (7) Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) requiring oxygen therapy or CPAP; (8) Participating in other clinical intervention trials.
