Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Histologically proven colorectal adenocarcinoma; 2) Paired tumor and normal adjacent tissue (NAT) samples.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Past medical history of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD); 2) Received oral or intravenous antibiotics therapy longer than 3 days in the past 1 month; 3) Received neoadjuvant treatment, including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and immunotherapy and etc.; 4) Samples from colonoscopy biopsy or local resection (endoscopic submucosal dissection or transanal resection).
